Cambodian Children’s Trust (CCT)
Cambodian Children’s Trust (CCT) empowers families to stay together and achieves transformational change for vulnerable children.
It brings a holistic range of services into communities and mobilises action to protect vulnerable children and strengthen their families. Services include access to youth clubs, supplementary education, nutritious food, health care, financial literacy and business support.
During the pandemic, CCT provided educational materials to 143 children, all of whom re-enrolled when schools reopened after 9 months!
CCT continue to embed their model into public systems & facilities so they will be delivered sustainably and equitably by communities themselves. Last year their pilot integration project resulted in a reduction in domestic violence and an increase in school enrolments.
CCT believe that achieving true empowerment is a matter of who holds the. The people whose lives are affected by the programmes should be the ones making the decisions about how those programmes are designed and implemented.
